The place is amazing and would definitely recommend. The host and staff were super friendly and recommended us a pizza with mushrooms and prawns and it was super delicious! Although the prices are not high, but ordering alcohol will make your final bill go noticeably high. So if you’re looking to eat and enjoy the atmosphere with a reasonable budget this place is highly recommended and well located!

Amidst the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue, where countless restaurants compete for attention, Tropical stands out as a place built with heart and authenticity. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality—attentive and helpful without being intrusive, a rare find in the area. The atmosphere is beautifully designed, the service is impeccable, and the food? Absolutely delicious! They even customized our dishes to perfection. If you're looking for a memorable dinner in Playa, this is the place to be! Highly recommended.

It's a super cute place, amazing margaritas and colorful atmosphere. As everywhere around Mexico, be careful with the food quality, though. Currently suffering from the mushroom and cheese pita.

Food is very good! It is expensive though compared to options outside of 5th Avenue. Be prepared to pay 300 pesos for a burrito or 3 tacos. Not good option if you want to eat lots and save money, but very tasty.

Very good place! We sat outside and service was spot on. Wasn't too awful loud even though it's a busy street. Molcajete Garlic Shrimp really good along with their tacos. molcajete cheese was ok green sauce a little tart. Ceviche Fish was real good. Sauces were real good and Hot! Service was real good very attentive.

Stopped for early lunch. The sopes were very good. The fruit plate plenty for two. And my smoothie was wonderful refreshment. This is a nice shaded setting among the noise of 5ta Avenida

The smoothies are SO good, we get them nearly every morning. Chilaquiles are delish! I recommend the red sauce. I believe the owner greeted us while eating one morning and he was very kind.
